Perhaps you have heard about how PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, is used to treat hair loss. At Evoked Aesthetics, we offer PRP as a hair restoration treatment for both men and women looking for natural hair growth.
A PRP hair loss treatment targets the two most critical components of blood plasma: white blood cells and platelets. Growth factors present in each of these components help stimulate our hair follicles to grow new hair. During your treatment, your blood is drawn, and then it is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich serum from other parts of the blood. The resulting serum contains a high concentration of platelets that encourages hair growth and tissue regeneration. PRP stimulates newly implanted follicles or inactive ones to cause an active growth phase during hair restoration.
Unlike hair transplants, PRP treatments are non-invasive. Typically, we recommend six treatments, with most clients seeing results after three or four treatments. We recommend scheduling a free consultation with Evoked Aesthetics to determine if you are a candidate.
The session typically lasts 40-60 minutes.
